Rules

Rules and regulations:

1. Each team can consist of 2-5 members only.

2. The first round will be the elimination round in which the basic aspects and fundas of

the chemical engineering students will be tested. Only 3 members of the team will be
allowed to take the test. The teams have the liberty to send in their best 3 to attempt the
test.
3. After the test there will be an expert lecture organised for all the participants which will
enlighten them and generate more interest in them for their branch.
4. Now the technical hold of the branch will be tested in a non-technical way in the form of
a treasure hunt. The treasure hunt may have events like:
• Diffusion/Separation.
• Identification of compounds.
• Unsolved logical problems of core chemical topics.
• To find a,b,c,…unknown compounds.

5. Then there will be a model presentation. Theme will be provided and the useful and
required material will be provided to the participants and sufficient time will be allotted.

6. The qualifying teams will have a brain-storming technical quiz with highly interesting
rounds.

7. The finals will be current industrial and technical problems session, for which highly
experienced professionals will be called.

Day 1.

First eliminations will have all the teams and also all the teams will be permitted for the expert
lecture. The top 25 teams will proceed for the treasure hunt.

Day 2.Top 15 teams will move further to the model presentation.

For the Quiz, the best 5 teams will be called on stage. Top 2 teams will face the final challenge.
