Introduction

Ever been amazed upon getting noise waveforms on cro screen? Those  typical  “dancing triangles” or the “chocolate shaped”  signals albeit the input applied being a sinusoidal shaped wave!!!???!
Does the “Grey Matter “  in you  start  ticking,  searching for the error, some loose pin connections , bad probes or faulty ic’s in the circuit…
The event will challenge your troubleshooting capabilities compelling  you  to think  beyond the realms of your  day 2 day practical sessions...
If you can enjoy  the exhilarating experience  in fixing such  circuit errors… then “Circuit Diffetto“  is only  your cup of tea.

Rules

  • A team of two  participants at the  maximum
  • Event is divided into two phases
  • An erroneous circuit to be debugged will be given to each team in both the phases however level of complexity will differ. Each team will have to search for the loopholes in the given circuit and make it run
  • Only teams qualifying for second round will enter the second phase of event
  • Knowledge about pin configurations  of basic ics and other electronic components  is necessary.
  • Any damage to CRO or function generator  or any component won’t be entertained and corresponding team is liable for disqualification.
