Nirma University
Under the aegis of Nirma Education and Research Foundation (established in 1994), the university presently includes a top grade Institute of Technology, a leading B-school - Institute of Management, an innovative Institute of Diploma Studies, an Institute of Pharmacy, an emerging Institute of Science and Institute of Law. All these institutions have emerged as centers of excellence offering various programmes ranging from undergraduate to doctoral levels in technology, management, entrepreneurship, pharmacy and sciences.
The university is on a continuous active mode with not only world-class curricular activities but also with myriad activities like international conventions, symposia, conferences, student competitions, conclaves, workshops, executive programmes, cultural and sports activities, etc. Spread over the sprawling 140 acres of beautifully landscaped area, the campus fascinates and delights the students, faculty and all visitors. The world-class infrastructure includes auditoriums, seminar rooms, classrooms, and laboratories, computing facilities and library besides hostel, canteen and sport facilities. The excellent infrastructure and lush green environment provide the right ambience and atmosphere for intellectual interaction and stimulation.
The intellectual capital of the university is characterized with variety and richness with faculty being drawn from all over the nation. The variety in terms of experience, research and industry exposure of the faculty facilitates stimulating learning opportunities for students hailing from all over the country. ISTE
ISTE STUDENTS’ CHAPTER, NIRMA UNIVERSITY
The INDIAN SOCIETY FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (ISTE) is a national, professional, non-profit making society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860.
ISTE Students’ Chapter is a premier club at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University. It is the only tech , non-tech and social club that organizes technical and non-technical events at National and State level round the year addressing the technical and creative side of the Technocrat. The success of ISTE, ITNU can be measured by seeing to it that it has been winning “THE BEST STUDENTS’ CHAPTER” laurel consecutively since last 4 years. Also we, in ISTE, Institute of Technology, Nirma University understand our duties towards the society and with passing year, we have been focusing on social activities by virtue of which the students’ are nurtured to become a worthy citizen of this great country . The major objective of the ISTE is to assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organisations. Being the only national organisation of educators in the field of Engineering and Technology, ISTE effectively contributes in various missions of the Union Government.
